Teacher answer key
- Warm-up: answers will vary.
- Vocabulary: accept accurate contextual meanings.
- Reading / grammar: Comprehension: 1) It organises ideas before drafting. 2) No; short notes are enough. 3) A supporting detail/example. 4) Difficult maths. 5) It gives the writer a clear sequence of ideas. Grammar: acceptable full sentences include: Extra practice helps with difficult subjects. Homework teaches responsibility. Students learn to meet deadlines. A short plan makes writing clearer.
- Listening script: “Hana is planning a paragraph about whether schools should start later. Her opinion is yes. Her first reason is that teenagers need enough sleep. She plans to use tired students in morning classes as an example. Her second reason is that better rest can improve concentration.”

Puzzle/Game: answers will vary. Encourage students to use lesson vocabulary and explain their choices.
Success criteria: this is a student self-check. No single answer is required.
For open-ended tasks, accept different answers when students can explain or support them clearly.
