A1 • Reading Comprehension
My Neighbourhood
Read the passage, then answer the questions.

My name is Hana. I live in a small neighbourhood near the centre of town. My house is opposite a park. The park has tall trees, a playground and a path for walking.
There is a supermarket five minutes from my house. My family buys food there on Saturday mornings. Next to the supermarket is a small café. My mother likes the coffee, and I like the hot chocolate.
My school is a little farther away. I usually walk to school with my friend Leo. It takes us about fifteen minutes. On rainy days, we catch the bus.
I like my neighbourhood because it is quiet, friendly and easy to walk around. My favourite place is the park. I often go there after school to read or talk with my friends.
