Teaching notes
Read the passage aloud for the listening panel. For the language panel, model one sentence aloud and let students change the sentence starter. For the speaking and transfer panels, accept a clear, relevant response in the student’s own words. Invite planning in a familiar language and adjust support to English proficiency.
