After finishing work on Friday, Mateo stopped at a supermarket to buy dinner. As he walked through the car park, he noticed a brown wallet beside a shopping trolley.

He opened it only far enough to look for identification. There was some cash, two bank cards and a driver licence inside. The licence showed that the owner was a woman named Grace Liu.

Mateo took the wallet to the supermarket service desk. A staff member wrote down his name and phone number. About twenty minutes later, Grace returned to the store looking worried. She had noticed the wallet was missing when she tried to pay for petrol.

The staff member gave Grace her wallet after checking her identification. Grace phoned Mateo that evening to thank him.
