Albert Einstein was born in Germany in 1879. As a child, he was very curious. He liked maths and wanted to understand how the world worked. Later, Einstein became a scientist. He worked on important ideas about light, space, time and energy. In 1905, he published several famous scientific papers. One of his ideas helped explain the connection between mass and energy. Einstein later moved to the United States. In 1921, he received the Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on light. His ideas changed modern science. Today, Einstein is one of the most famous scientists in history. His wild hair and thoughtful face are known around the world.
